Help
Answers to the everyday questions about designing, saving and exporting.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the template explorer and start designing. Five templates are free. Standard templates cost £3.99 each and Deluxe exclusive designs cost £7.99 through Stripe, with no subscription. Deluxe designs are sold to one buyer; free and standard designs are shared. Save a purchase recovery key to restore access on another device.
Where are my screenshots and projects saved?
Your projects, uploaded screenshots, and custom templates are saved in this browser on this device. They are not uploaded to a server. Use the same local address and browser to return to your work; clearing browser data will remove saved projects. Use Back up project to download a copy, and Import project to restore it.
Can I make iPhone, iPad and Android screenshots?
Yes. Switch between iPhone, iPad and Android in the editor. AppFramey adapts your frames the first time, then saves each device’s layout separately. Text, colours and styling edits are linked by default. Use Across formats to include layout edits, share images, or edit only the current format. Wear OS stays independent. Upload your actual iPad screenshots for the tablet version.
What can I export?
Export one frame as a full-resolution PNG, download every frame as individual PNGs, or package the selected device version as a ZIP. Filenames follow your frame order.
Can I reuse my own designs?
Yes. Save a set of six or more frames as a custom template, or save one frame as a reusable layout. Both are available in the template explorer.
Back up and restore your work
Choose Back up project in the editor or template explorer. Import project opens a saved backup as a new project, preserving your existing work. Backups include uploaded screenshots, custom templates and all saved device layouts. Purchase access is restored separately using your recovery key.
